Stevie came in at 1am to help a new employee that wasn’t as knowledgeable in the system to help me get into a room after the hotel had a glitch! She made it happen!!

I was at the DoubleTree Phoenix North for a reunion with the Vietnam Security Police Association. My overall experience was fabulous. My room was perfect and well kept. To me it was an excellent location and close to just about everything. On a personal note I would like to give personal kudos to various members of the staff. First there is Barry. He was responsible for our hospitality room care. He and his group were on top of things for us. Some things they simply did to help the ladies be ready for the next day. A huge shout out has to be given to the GM Ron. With his help and that of the front desk personnel we were able to get medical help for one of our members, who was ultimately admitted to the hospital. Though they checked him out, they stored his belongings for pick up on discharge. Ron also assured us that should Jack be released during our block of time, he would be able to get another room. You couldn't ask for more. Lastly, I have to give full props to the frontline staff. They know who they are. The Front Desk Crew. Starting with Stevie, who welcomed me my first day. She put me totally at ease and always had a smile. Then her partners on other days were Kiki and Seth. They continued to give us that feel at home feeling. The morning crew were totally helpful in local attractions and the hospital for our emergency. Last of all comes the midnight crew. There was Tyler who was very personable and friendly. He would always ask how we were and tell us to rest well. Then I really have to give great praise to Nina. She worked the last night of my stay and I had to run downstairs for some chips and soda. She was engaged with a gentleman, who seemed to be very irate. Her demeanor never changed though. She remained professional and courteous. I indicated I would be right back. I got one of our leaders to go out to assist. All was settled without any escalation. In Short, Thank You All For Everything. On a Personal note for all. Jack is home, in Connecticut. He is still sore but resting comfortably.

Stevie at the front desk is absolutely awesome. From her energy to her personality, she delivers true white glove service. She went above and beyond to make sure I received the room I originally booked after it was confirmed and then unexpectedly canceled. I truly cannot say enough great things about her.

Haven't been to many DoubleTree hotels but this one was a great experience. Clean rooms. Reasonably priced. Front desk was very helpful without being overbearing. The bar was nice and the bartender was amazing. Will definitely come back the next time I'm in Phoenix.

When my bathroom in my apartment became unusable unexpectedly, I spent the night here. My stay was great, Seth in customer service made me feel at ease and welcome, which I greatly appreciated. The room was spacious, clean, well taken care of, overall a pleasant experience.

Great location, but there's no heat in the rooms unless you let them know at the front desk you would like to use the heater in your room so they can call maintenance to your room not sure why you should you have ask to use the heater. There's a musty scent possible because it's so cold.

We stayed here because we were attending a concert. As well as many, many concert goers, so it was very busy. The staff handled the crowd pleasantly and quickly. Our room was clean and the air was very cold. The restaurant was clean and good food and all the staff were so great. We were nervous about staying here after all of these negative reviews but we had a wonderful experience. Outside of the pool being out of service (which we didn't care about this trip) and the ice machine on our floor not working, we have nothing bad to say and would stay here again.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. Will probably be booking here again in the future. The hotel itself is definitely older, but it has a beautiful lobby and it's well maintained. The rooms are where you can tell its older. The bathrooms especially. However, they're clean, the water has great pressure and gets nice and hot, and you get a decent size refrigerator and the most comfortable beds I've slept in across ANY other hotel (I normally wake up with back pain, first time that didnt happen). The breakfast is top tier, because it goes until 11am. I'm so used to places ending the breakfast by 9am, and we sometimes have to wake the kids out of their sleep just to eat. The DoubleTree wants everyone to eat lol. The food was good, the staff was excellent. The sweetest, and very welcoming. From the front desk to security. 10/10 would stay again.
